On Parole was a short film about a guy who wrongfully spent 10 years in prison and is not adjusting back to society. As much as he tries to fit in, he still seems to stick out. I took a more obvious approach to this challenge, his clothing while fitting in with color and style was off in terms of patterning and of course his red shoes. For me the use of red, though not my choice, was his link to this former life that he cant quite seem to escape because of societies preconceived notions of how he should be as an ex con.
