Mariah was a short film shot in Philadelphia. The main character Mariah is a girl of about 18 who is stuck in between child and adult. Her grief over the death of Robbie, a little boy she babysat, was so trying on her that it eventually led to her own passing. I used the color red sparingly in costume to connect her to him, a color choice that really stood out and worked against the cool gray of winter.
